Jude Okoye, brother to Peter and Paul Okoye of Psquare has welcomed a baby girl with his wife Ifeoma. The news of the baby arrival was first shared by Paul’s wife Anita on Snapchat before the proud father took to Instagram to share the picture of the cute baby and mother.

Anybody found with Biafra flag will be arrested – Abia police commissioner The new commissioner of police in Abia state Anthony Ogbizi has warned that anybody found with the Biafra flag will be arrested. Ogbizi said anyone seen with the Biafra emblem will be arrested and charged to court. Speaking while parading seven suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, the newly deployed state commissioner of police said the proscription of the group by the governors of the south east automatically make its illegal. He said it has become illegal for anyone to operate under the IPOB which was declared a terrorist organization by the Nigerian military or adorn its emblems.

More Problems for Nigeria Universities as SSANU, NASU, NAAT join ASUU, declare indefinite strike The problems facing the Nigerian educational institutions are about to increase as all the major non-teaching staff unions of public universities have resolved to embark on an indefinite strike. According to Premium Times, the strike is set to begin from September 11. The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU) and the National Association of Academic Technologists, (NAAT), announced the strike on Wednesday, September 6. The president of SSANU, who is also the chairman of JAC while speaking at a press conference in Abuja explained reasons for the industrial action, saying the nationwide strike would be total and comprehensive.
