A young South African lady identified as Katherine Johnson has narrated the story of how she caught her husband cheating with their mutual friend. The young wife took to social media to express her grief after she was reportedly betrayed by her friend and her husband. Johnson who walked in on her friend and her husband revealed that the two had been cheating for two years behind her back. According to the young lady, she helped her husband with his career by taking a loan out for him in her own name. According to Yabaleftonline.ng, a supposed Facebook slay queen was caught in the act of stealing. The lady identified by as Mhiz Favour Kez on Facebook was caught stealing wine from a shop in Abia state. She was said to have been severely beaten before she was given her freedom. THE United States has carried out a second test of a bomb, described as the most dangerous nuclear weapon ever produced, as tensions with North Korea escalate. US authorities confirmed the test was successful and the B61-12 gravity bomb is expected to go into production within three years.  The B61-12 gravity bombs were 'inert' but they were dropped from F-15E fighter jets at Tonopah Test Range in Nevada on August 8, the National Nuclear Security Administration said. The tests were intended to check the bomb’s “non-nuclear functions and the aircraft’s capability to deliver the weapon.” Despite the weapons' nuclear capability being disabled the message to Kim Jong-un's North Korea could not be clearer. JAMB has release a new cut-off mark for Tertiary institutions in Nigeria, not withstanding that the institutions can raise there cut-off point mark above that of JAMB. It was reported by Premium Times that these decisions were taken at the 2017 Combined Policy Meetings on Admissions into Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria which ended on Tuesday, August 22. The Minimum Cut-Point: University = 120 Polytechnic and College of Education = 100 Innovating Institution = 110 Institutions are however allowed to raise their cut of above JAMB stipulated cut-off marks. and that admissions into public degree awarding institutions are to end admission October 15th for first choice and December 15th for second choice. He also spoke about illegal admissions saying the new process allows the registrar to approve all candidates.

The Federal Government of Nigeria today lifts bans on Post UTME exams, Amadu Amadu the minister of education urges all universities not to impose huge financial burdens on parents asking that the universities should make screening fees affordable. Also to note that the federal government is now wiser in regrades to the situation having studied what is going on in the universities, giving kudos to JAMB for having remitted huge sum into the treasury of the federal government. In this light he said that the ban of Post UTME has always been conducted by the universities in the country has been lifted from the day of this report. Having ordered that the exams be scrapped last year, he has declared that universities can now organize the post-UTME exams as a pre-condition for students hoping to get admitted into the various higher institutions in the country.
