JAMB new cut-off mark for Institutions


JAMB has release a new cut-off mark for Tertiary institutions in Nigeria, not withstanding that the institutions can raise there cut-off point mark above that of JAMB.

It was reported by Premium Times that these decisions were taken at the 2017 Combined Policy Meetings on Admissions into Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria which ended on Tuesday, August 22.

The Minimum Cut-Point:
University = 120
Polytechnic and College of Education = 100
Innovating Institution = 110

Institutions are however allowed to raise their cut of above JAMB stipulated cut-off marks.
and that admissions into public degree awarding institutions are to end admission October 15th for first choice and December 15th for second choice.
He also spoke about illegal admissions saying the new process allows the registrar to approve all candidates.
