Emeka Rollas Emerges as AGN President

Emeka Rollas New AGN President, The Actors Guild of Nigeria, now has a new president after the election that was conducted in Enugu State on the 22rd of August, 2017, which Emeka Rollas has 42 votes and Emeka Ike 14 votes, for the position of  the President and Samuel Onibiyo 42 votes for the position of the General Secretary.

Emeka was elected after a keenly contested election which now sees both faction of Emeka Ike and Ibinabo Fiberesima being officially dissolved, and the one time general secretary Emeka Rollas now emerges as the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, and Samuel Onibiyo as the General Secretary.

Sambo Dasuki (rtd) as he was prevented from traveling on Wednesday night, even as the operatives of the Department of State Security surround his Abuja residence on Thursday. Police never killed any MASSOB, IPOB protester – IGP Arase

The Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase, has denied reports that officers of the Force had killed some members of the Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), during their protests across parts of the country. Recall that following the arrest and continued detention of Director of Radio Biafra and Leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, by Nigeria’s secret Police, the Department of State Services (DSS), his supporters had organised massive protests across parts of Delta, Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Bayelsa and Rivers States, calling for his immediate release.
