The police officer whom dancer Korra Obidi accused of slapping her and smashing her phone has responded to the accusation. He shared a video which shows the dancer throwing punches at the crowd that gathered, and also a narration of his own side of the story. According to an eyewitness @Hotsucreee, Korra Obidi disobeyed the law enforcement officer when she was asked to reverse because she was going off her lane which would have added to the traffic the officers were trying to reduce. The eyewitness also pointed out that the dancer was not touched as claimed. ”Girl you are completely wrong. I witnessed this and I got you out of this mess today . Despite intense media speculation that national U-23 team coach, Samson Siasia would be sacked soon, a member of the Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ahmed Yusuf Fresh has informed that the football house has no intention of sacking the Olympic silver medal-winning coach. Yusuf said: “There has never been a time we in the technical committee or at the executive committee level discussed any such thing. I am a member of both committees and never has that come up for discussion.” Fresh admitted however, that Siasia was queried after what was taken as an affront against his employers. He added: “But that was not enough for the media to suggest that it would lead to Siasia’s sack. “Siasia was queried and he has since answered to the query. It is a normal administrative procedure which should not call for speculations that are unfounded. There is no intention to sack Siasia,”he repeated.
Anybody found with Biafra flag will be arrested – Abia police commissioner The new commissioner of police in Abia state Anthony Ogbizi has warned that anybody found with the Biafra flag will be arrested. Ogbizi said anyone seen with the Biafra emblem will be arrested and charged to court. Speaking while parading seven suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, the newly deployed state commissioner of police said the proscription of the group by the governors of the south east automatically make its illegal. He said it has become illegal for anyone to operate under the IPOB which was declared a terrorist organization by the Nigerian military or adorn its emblems.
